till You call me home

People all around, and yet I am alone,
No friends, no family, no one to hear my cries.
Sinking into the depths, scared and broken;
Curled in a ball, pain overwhelms my soul.
Hear me and rescue me, Oh my Savior!
Rescue your servant, who longs for You.
day and night I call out to You,
for You alone can save.

Come swiftly to my aid,
Save me from the depths.
Let me sing your praises
from the valleys below to the mountains above.
Great are You Lord,
Magnificent are your deeds,
Spectacular your mercy,
Abundant your forgiveness,
Overflowing your love.

Oh how my heart leaps for joy at your name!
None in heaven, nor on earth can compare!
Great are You Lord!
Oh that I could praise You in your courts,
Sing glory unto your name!
Make my heart after yours,
That I might show others your love and compassion.
Hide your words in my heart that I might not sin against You.
Open my heart to leading,
let me follow You all the days of my life!
