A sign, please!

I was talking to someone and they were telling me with everything that had gone on in the last 2 months they expected me to be a complete basket case.  This person wanted to know why I was doing so well.  (Note:  I have been/still am struggling, but with each day God gives me more peace and teaches my heart to rely on Him alone and trust in the plans He has for me).  This person wanted to know why they perceived me as doing ok and not in a complete and total meltdown.  I simply answered, God has been giving me the strength.  This person looked at me and said, 'I am not a Christian, but I can see that God has a plan for your life, so just keep on.'

This has been a difficult year, particularly the last two months, although God has been teaching me so much, and I wouldn't trade that for anything.  I have been talking to God, asking Him to help me trust the plan He has for me and telling Him a sign would be nice, but what does one even ask for?  Not only did God give me a sign in what this person said, but He helped me to see that it was a sign.
