God, You are so amazing...

Oh God, you are so amazing
how could we not fall at your feet in worship?
You never abandon us, never forsake us.
No matter where we have been,
the roads we have traveled,
You always long to draw us to You.

When sorrows threaten to overwhelm,
You lift us up, give us the strength to persevere.
And when all is lost,
You pick us up and carry us
through the obstacles and darkness.

You have promised
that we will not be tempted beyond what we can bear.
And You ARE faithful,
providing an escape so that we can endure.
Teach me to seek You in all things, in all situations,
that I might not sin against You.

Oh Lord, draw my heart to yours,
teaching me and molding me after You.
Teach my heart to love like You,
to forgive like You and to bless those who curse me.

Fill my heart with your peace and grace.
Help me to always turn to You first,
knowing that You will never forsake your children,
and trusting in the plan You have for my life.

Hide your words in my heart,
that I might not sin against You;
that I might follow in your path,
and dwell in your house forever.

Make my heart tender to your decrees,

that I might be contrite.

That I would hear Your calling,

and trust in You, oh Mighty God.

Fix my eyes on You,
so that I run the race You have set before me.
Increase the measure of my faith,
that I would seek your face,
and praise You all the days of my life.

Pour out your blessing upon me,
give me wisdom to discern your ways.
Make my heart humble,
Yet may I never forget
that I am your precious child,
purchased with your blood,
made holy and redeemed.

Oh how my heart sings with joy
at all You have done!
May all of heaven and earth praise your name!
For You are the alpha and omega,
the beginning and end,
the one and only true God!
