God, me, and my teddy bear

When life is at its darkest
and the world seems against me,
there is God, me, and my teddy bear.

When all have abandoned me,
and I am alone,
still, there is God, me, and my teddy bear.

In the wee hours of the morning,
when sleep will not come,
there is God, me, and my teddy bear.

When pain overwhelms,
and tears flood my face,
there is God, me, and my teddy bear.

When my heart aches
beyond all repair,
there is God, me, and my teddy bear.

When others betray me,
and turn their back,
still there is God, me, and my teddy bear

And even if teddy bear were to become lost,
and all that remains is me and God,
That is enough.

For if God is for me,
who can be against me?
My God is faithful!
He will never forsake me,
never abandon me.
He hides me in His heart,
and holds me in His arms.
He is more than enough!

Oh that I could dwell in the house of my Lord forever!
Sing His praises night and day!
My heart meditates on His word
that I would follow the path He has for me

Lord my heart longs for You!
Draw me ever closer to You!
I eagerly await for You to call me home,
to bow before You, my King and Savior,
to hear You say, 'Well done, good and faithful servant'.
